Electronic media as a communication tool in dissemination of farm technologies in district Baramulla

Abstract

Radio and television are among the most effective media for transferring modern agricultural technology to literate and illiterate farmers alike. A study of 120 farmers across ten villages of tehsil Zaingeer found high extension contact and innovation proneness among middle-aged, better-educated respondents.
